ESX 2.5.x and insight agent 7.40b

I am having some trouble with the HP Insight manager agents on esx

When i try to download the file from HP the link says its a *.tgz file but it only ever comes down as a tar file with I cannot extract from. Has anyone seen this and know where I can get a proper copy of the tgz file?

Also i have noticed with the 7.20 agents that when you do a silent install none of the detailed information is available and it appears it doesnt install all the storage agents. This all works fine when doing a manual install. I was hoping the 7.40b agent shave fixed this.

This links to the download, when I just tried it was a tgz file. And that is what I pulled down a while ago. Extracted just fine.

Can't answer the second point, I've not had a lot of luck with the Silent Install, but as we've only got two VM Servers it's not an issue (yet!)

hmmm i still get a tar file when i download from that link. Not to worry i have adjusted my scripts accordingly

the other problem with a full install not occuring appears to be resolved in 7.40b so its looking good now !!
