snmp settings on SLES9 and strange effects

Hello,
I have installed the PSP7.40 on a SLES9 box and I think I have configured snmp correctly.

Nevertheless I do not get any messages on our HPSIM i.e. if I remove a drive from my server.

HPSIM allways shows me a green symbol, but the local SysMgr. Homepage shows correctly the warning I expect.

Also, if i klick the link to the servers SysMgr-hompeage it takes a while an after waiting I get an "information, that the server doesn't have a SystemManagementHomepage...and thats wrong for sure as I can go there by typing in the URL manually...

Anyone any ideas?

oh, SLES9 is with SP2 and I have PSP7.40

Try running identification task or re-discover SLES 9 system from SIM.

I tried rediscovering, but still the same.
Funny thing is: I can send a test-snmp-trap using the local SIM homepage, but no errors are send.
