<title>topic HP SIM 5.0 and preferred system name in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/server-management-systems/hp-sim-5-0-and-preferred-system-name/m-p/3686965#M16933</link>
<description>My question is very simply. Lets say I have an server which name is server1.test.com. When SIM discovers it through autodiscovery, SIM puts only server1 in preferred system name. How can I force SIM to put full DNS name in preferred system name when autodiscovery is done?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have "Use a system full dns name" set in System link configuration. HELP</description>
