Management Server URL

I would like to monitor my ProCurve switches with Insight Manager 5.0
There is a configuration you can make in the Web-interface of the ProCurve Switch. Namely "Management Server URL". But how do I know what to type? I know the dns name of my Manage Server. Should that name go in there?

Not too sure, it may also be referring to the Procurve Manager.

Typically you would configure SNMP on the switch. It would need to allow SNMP access from the HPSIM Server on a defined community name and would also need the SNMP Trap Destination set to point to the HPSIM Server.
That's all that's required for the Storageworks/Brocade switches, plus a DNS entry if you want a name associated in HPSIM with them.
