help on installing VC agent for windows

cannot get the VC agent to upgrade from 2.0 to this version. any work around for this??

Judging by the message you posted it is looking for the System Management Homepage service. The VC Agent in SS7.20 and on, which includes the version you are using from SS7.40 - requires the System Management Homepage. It is a separate component within the PSP - I would suggest you install it first and then do the VC Agent upgrade, it should work then.
