In http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=990006 David Claypool said:

HP SIM requirements are listed in the Quickpecs: http://www.hp.com/go/hpsim --> Quickspecs

SQL2000 is listed, and that is the minimum configuration, so SP4 is acceptable.

There are currently issues with SQL2005, and it is not supported at this time.

There are no current plans to recompile HP SIM as a x86-64 application. The current deliverable supports 32-bit versions of the operating system, and while it should run, x86-64 operating system versions are not currently on the QA test matrix and not officially supported.
I just want to ask you if your configuration working on SQL 2005 x64 bit? I read on SIM 5 system requirements that SQL 2005 must be install on 32 bit OS. Dont see the point of that but would rather know before i install x64 SQL 2005.
