<title>topic SIM 5 Email Notification in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/server-management-systems/sim-5-email-notification/m-p/3713310#M17757</link>
<description>My question is in regards to using the SIM email notification via a SMTP Smart Host. Can SIM 5 use a Smart Host as a SMTP relay for its email notification. I have already tested the relay aspect with Telnet, but I dont know for sure if SIM will work, or do you need a true Exchange account for it to work.</description>
