We have installed HP SIM 5.0 SP2. Our MSCE Cluster is identified as a MSCE Cluster. But when we klick on the Clustername we would expect to see the Cluster Monitor with Cluster Informations. All we get is a blank frame with the Title Cluster Monitor and the Cluster Name.
We did an update to SP3. No changes!

I am having the same problem - just noticed it yesterday. I have not tried SP3 yet, but from the sounds of it, it does not fix the problem based on your experiences.

I dont know when the problem started happening, but I just noticed it yesterday after I built a new 3-node cluster and added it to SIM.

I know of nothing that has changed in SIM itself, but obviously there have MS security updates added to the server recently.

I would be curious to know if others are having the same problem.

Mine starting working today (or at least I discovered it today).

The only thing I did was reboot my SIM server a few days ago. I had already tried that and it did not fix the problem then. But now it works?

No clue...but at least its working.
Nelson

I tried this; even adding them manually, by IP and specifying type (Server or Cluster). Still no go. I was running an older version and uninstalled it and loaded 5.0 SP5. The only difference is that I loaded it with an account that has local admin on the HPSIM server and local admin on each of the cluster nodes (Trying to limit the accounts that have admin access). Does this make a difference? The cluster info is there on the nodes on the HP System Management Homepage; it seems HPSIM just won't display it.

Thanks

GMKovach
