    <description>Richard, I don't think that is going to be practical.  If HP SIM doesn't have the ability to gather data from the servers you won't have any asset information unless you were to manually enter the data.  Opening up the database for data entry is NOT encouraged or supported as badly formatted or incomplete information can affect HP SIM operations.</description>

      <title>HP-SIM Offline Servers</title>

      <description>I'm hoping to use HP-SIM for asset management in addition to server system monitoring.  However, my server assets consist of an off-wire test environment in addition to online production servers.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is anyone aware of a “prepackaged” mechanism for manually entering off-wire/non-discoverable server hardware in to the HP-SIM database?  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;</description>
