topic All Systems Page not displaying hardware issues in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

We keep this page on display at all times to see for any hdwe issues. The problem is we had a server whose harddrive was bad and the HS(Health Status) icon didn't turn red(crital) to indicate a problem, an email alert wasn't sent out as well. We discovered it while looking through the alert logs. We then went to the homepage for the device and it was indicating the failed drive. Can someone tell me how to fix this. We are running cim5, on w2k3.

If you got no alerts then you'd need to check that the SNMP Trap Destination on the Server concerned has been set.
It needs to point to the SIM Server. It should have sent a trap when the Agents detected the error.

I've also noticed issue where the Overall HW Status is not set to degraded when there is a HW Failure.
I've yet to apply SP4.
