I have the same problem with my SIM 4.2, VCM 2.1.
Haven't had time to do an upgrade yet but its on the radar.
I've also tried completely deleting all repository files and starting over from scratch, same error.
Guess I'll download the support pack mentioned above and manually add it.

Hello!

It confuses me a little bit right now.
Today we i've found again, that our Version Control Repository Manager, ended in an error, while trying to get the bp000270.xml file.
This file is placed in the Windows Server 2003 R2 x86 Edition Support for WS-Mgmt Proliant Support Pack.
The xmlfile is not located on the ftpserver,
already searched theire.
The only way to get to this file, was to download the Support Pack, and upload it to the Server manually.
I have to do this from time to time. Because if i don't, the VCRM will always end up in an error, and not update any other file.
Question now is, is it the only way to get to this files, by downloading the Support Packs by hand, and upload them to the VCRM manually, or did i miss something to configure?
