In the System Name column, all my RIB or iLO cards show the IP addresses (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx in Server xxxxx) instead of their names I gave during the RIB/iLO setup. When I click the IP address, I saw DNS name is missing. System name is the IP address. What do I miss and how can I fix this problem? Thanks.

In addition, I setup the RIB/iLO card as the following:
Enable DHCP:Yes
Use DHCP supplied Gateway: Yes
Use DHCP supplied DNS servers: Yes
Use DHCP supplied WINS servers: Yes
Register with WINS servers: Yes

The network setting looks fine.

Thanks.
Michael

The System Name field is populated from DNS. As you're using DHCP addresses it is unlikely these will be in DNS and shouldn't be.
The discovery process should associate the Management Processor with a device. If you want a System Name to be other than the IP Address then you'll need to look at setting permanent IP Addresses and updating your DNS for them. You'll need both forward and reverse DNS Lookup entries.

not totally related but, is it possible to extract the configuration from the ilo board to make the setup of the next one easier ?

dns, wins, routing, linkspeed etc. is always the same in our enviroment, so maybe there is the possibility of an "automated" ilo-setup ?
