topic Pre-login warning in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

I setup my SIM server certificate's Common Name with FQDN (servername.xx.xx.com).

Everytime I use "https://servername:50000/, I receive Hostname Mismatch....hostname from the certificate: servername.xx.xx.com. It works fine with FQDN name.

How can I fix this so I don't have to use the FQDN name in URL.

Thanks

I saw this question in another thread (don't remember the name), but basically the answer was you can't change it.

Under Options --> Security --> Certificate --> Server Certificate you can choose [New] and generate a new certificate and choose a certificate with short DNS name.

If you already have systems trusting the hpSIM CMS using the long form, first use a config task to (for a short time) change the Trust By to name with the name of the CMS. Once you're re-generated the certificate, redistribute it to the agents and change the trust back to certificate.
