Hallo,

I have a problem with Storage Essentials (SE). I think I installed it correct and I have in the SIM the SE parts in the menu. But if I start a SE part (for example Application Viewer) I get the Message " This page cannot show". The SIM works correct.

I have SE 5.0, SIM 5.0, W2k Server SP4 with IE 6.0

And now I have no idea why this happen. Does anyone know a solution?

Thanks!
Marcus

yes,
I of course have Deploy -> Licence Manager -> SE -> Manage SE key.
but I assume this is the plase where I can enter licence key wich I already have. right?
To do that I need to register on HP webware - and parameter which now I NEED (and ask) is MACHINE_ID, right?

My question is:
how (from my "start" button;) get this MACHINE_ID?

Manual says:
8. ....
You do not need to write down the machine ID. You can obtain it easily from the management
server (Security > Licenses).

I have NO such a option.

I am running on MS 2003.
SIM 5.0 SP4
SE 5.0.1
Oracle 9.2.0 + patch 9.2.0.6.0

I reinstalled already whole software and during this (specially installing Management Server) never seen any info about machine ID...
