topic Does firewall NAT affect WBEM/WMI? in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

How does NAT affect WBEM and WMI? Am I correct in stating that WBEM doesn't care about NAT? And WMI does because it uses DCOM which doesn't work with NAT? And this is one reason why WMI mapper is used? I'm being required to NAT our CMS and would just like someone to confirm, refute, and/or clarify my assumptions.
