I am using RDP to send an ISO to a ESX server with the Copy file to option. It copies the ISO but tries to execute it as well. (at least according to the status detail of the job in RDP). I used RDP to send a VMX file over and according to the log it did not try to execute it.

Is this the correct way to send a file to an ESX server ?
