I downloaded it but I still have several questions on this:<BR /><BR />1) Can one Emulex CIM see all the HBA's in a zone, or must it be installed on every SAN-attached server?<BR /><BR />2) Will SIM recognize HBA's or is this support exclusively for Storage Essentials?<BR /><BR />3) If the above is possible, can this be installed on the same server as the EVA SMI-S, or does it need to be a server without an existing SMI-S providor?<BR /><BR />Stupid questions but this is new to me :)<BR /><BR />Thanks! Problem is that there are both HP-drivers and Emulex-drivers for the same card. HP Support Packs will not update Emulex-drivers.<BR /><BR />Also, the Software Status in HPSIM for all machines containing Emulex HBA's will remail yellow as long as you use the (preferred) Emulex-drivers.<BR /><BR />I do not know anything about Emulex CIM, so I cannot help you with that.
