Thank you David.
The procedure is already applied and is working. The problem is the hardware inventory. Is it posible with HP SIM to retrieve the Raid card type, NIC type, memory modules, CPU type ... ?
Regards.
Hello.
Is it possible to have a HW inventory of non HP servers (Dell ones in this case) with SIM ?
The informations for the moment are only serial number, OS version and some other small information. I would like to have the SCSI/Raid/NIC controllers...
Is WMI/WBEM the solution and how to implement it?
Thank you.

You can get SNMP traps after Compiling and Registering the Dell MIBs, however I too would like to know how to get the HW Inventory for Dell Servers.

Google the Dell site for "HP Systems Insight Manager." They publish a step by step guide for how to manage their servers with HP SIM.
