Hi

When I run the systems management homepage on my server (hostname:2381), I get the page but the user logged in is anonymous and I cannot change the administrator password.

I know this is due to the anonymous account, but does anyone know how I can change this so that I can use the administrator account.

thanks
k

I take it that the administrator account for this server has the wrong password. To be able to log in with the correct password, you have three choices:
1) If this is an older version of the agents, try using the default password of 'administrator', and then change it to a new password.
2) Re-install the agents (including the web agent), and specify the new password you want when you are prompted. If you are not prompted for a password during the install, see choice #1.
3) (The easiest) From a server that you know the password for, copy the C:\Compaq\WBEM\CPQHMMD.ACL file to the server you wish to change the password on. Then stop/restart the Compaq agents so the ACL file can take effect.

Good Luck!
