Hi,
Is anybody aware of a method to automatically update the host file used by SIM other than clicking "Add Systems Now" ?
The host file that I originally specified is updated with new systems daily and it is a bit laborious to have to click add systems manually using this method
Thanks

You can schedule Automatic Discovery to complete based on an IP subnet.

You can enable discovery of a system when an unknown system sends an SNMP trap to HP SIM (best practice: build into the deployment process a final step that sends a trap)

You can use the mxnode command to add systems to HP SIM from the command line or from within a script.
