Interesting, we also have Thursday as day to run this task. I check now and I didn't found way to change the day, but simple workaround:
you can change task schedule to run "every 1 day", and then back to "every 7 day".
After this operation next run day will be 7 days from today, i.e. Friday.

I am using Sims 5.4 and am trying to edit the Software Polling Task. I would like to change the day that this task runs but have not been able to figure out how to do it.
Is a Thursday run a default that cannot be changed?

Thanks!
