Sorry, I didn't explain the whole picture of the problem.

Currently there is already a SIM server setup in forestA and servers in forestA child domain able to communicate with this SIM server and perform driver update and so on.

However when trying to configure for servers in forestB (forestA have domain trust with forestB)to communicate with this SIM server which located in forestA, all configuration is possible except when come to VCA setup. There is no problem to ping from the servers in forestB to this SIM server and vice versa, and no problem as well to discover the all the servers in forestB to this SIM server in forestA. Only problem is not possible to setup VCA on these servers in forestB with the SIM console.

We had created a different account to run the SIM service and granted the right for "Login as a service".

Any idea what could be went wrong?

regards,
BLeng

Yes your agents cannot see your VCRM. See if you can ping/access your VCRM server form your host. IF you have tried with name of VCRM server, try also with IP address.

If you run SIM in a Windows environment, VCA will not work under the usual Administrator account. Try to create a special account for it. This account should have user right "Login as a service". Hope this works for you.
