I have the following issue: When a blade is removed from or inserted back in the enclosure I receive SIM alerts for the event from all the remaining blades. How should I configure so as to receive only one alert ?

That's by design. If the enclosures are properly associated, HP SIM should collapse them into a single alert.

How should I ensure enclosures are properly associated, can you please elaborate? As far as I can see, all the racks, enclosures and servers appear properly in SIM. However multiple alerts don't collapse into a single one.

Thanks for posting CW, I am also seeing the same type of issue and am wondering what is required for proper associations.

I think, the reason I am getting multiple alerts is because bl p-class forwarding is
enabled for all blade ilos. If it is enabled
ONLY for leftmost ilo, there should be only one alert.
