      <description>See if SIM has identified the serial number. You can check this out in the system page of the server. If not, make sure that the agents are installed and the SNMP configurations are correct and then re-identify the server.</description>

      <description>I have re identified the server and the SNMP settings are correct. It still shows the serial number error.</description>

      <description>If the server has had a System Board replaced there may not be a Serial No. in the BIOS.&lt;BR /&gt;You'll need to reboot the server and have a look in the BIOS settings directly and possibly enter the serial number that should be recorded on the outside of the box somewhere.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The ML530 seems quite old, is this server supported by PMP?</description>
