https://community.hpe.com/t5/server-management-systems/sim-5-and-postgresql/m-p/3800393#M20731 Hi All<BR /><BR />I am tring to install SIM on RH4, I can not remove postgresql before installing SIM; here are the output I am getting:<BR /><BR /># rpm -e postgresql<BR /><BR />error: Failed dependencies:<BR /> postgresql = 7.4.8-1.RHEL4.1 is needed by (installed) postgresql-server-7.4.8-1.RHEL4.1.i386<BR /> postgresql = 7.4.8-1.RHEL4.1 is needed by (installed) postgresql-pl-7.4.8-1.RHEL4.1.i386<BR /><BR /># rpm -qa |grep postgresql|xargs rpm -e<BR />error: Failed dependencies:<BR /> libpq.so.3 is needed by (installed) perl-DBD-Pg-1.31-6.i386<BR /> libpq.so.3 is needed by (installed) dovecot-0.99.11-2.EL4.1.i386<BR /><BR />I am getting dep. err. msg.
