email notifier do not working after install ms exchange server

Hi all,

My customer ask me why his Hp sim does not sent any error to email specified after installing ms exchange server. He runs Windows Server 2000 sp4, MS Exchange 5.5 sp4 and HP SIM installed from ver 7.41 Management CD on HP Proliant ML350G4.
Please give me suggestion.Thanks

HI,

From HP SIMS OPTION menu check if email setings are filled.
OPTIONS->EVENTS->AUTOMATIC EVENT HANDLING->EMAIL SETTINGS

And also create an account for SIM on exchange server and feed it in the same settings page.

Check exchange server anti-relay settings as well - HPSIM server must be in allow list
