For the past two days, I have had an issue with SIM 5.0 SP4, where no one is able to see any systems. When I click on All Systems or any of the other predefined collections, I get the above error message. When I click on System Overview, I am able to see the server count. If I click on All Events, I am able to see the events so it seems like the database connection is working.

We also have a web application that pulls information from the SIM database that is working just fine.

Any ideas on what may be causing this issue?

I have this issue occasionally and restarting the HPSIM services clears this up.
I set up a scheduled task to daily run the HPSIM restart command to free up memory right before the data collection runs. Haven't had the problem since.
