SIM 5.0 - AD Login - Can I preset Domain?

I'm trying to figure out if I can set the domain field in the SIM 5.0 login page to a set value?

I run a single login domain and users (including me) complain that they have to enter the domain name every time. Network policy is set to not allow saved field in web browser. I want to set this on the server-side.

So is there a way to set the domain field to a default value?

Hi,

There is a way to modify this.

On your HP SIM server, search for a file named: login.jsp
the one you are looking for should be located under: <DRIVE_AND path="">\"HP\Systems Insight Manager\hpwebadmin\webapps\ROOT"

Make a backup of this file and then edit the following line:

Where XXX is your domain.

A normal none-modified line of that looks like this:

hope this helps

BR
Johan S.
</DRIVE_AND>

This solution works great.

Is there any way to by pass Security Alert pop-up message? when you logon to HP SIM.

You got to have the SIM certificate imported on to the client browser and you have to browse to SIM server with the name that is in the certificate. This should eliminate the security pop-up.
