How to edit device in HPSIM?

Hi,

I can't seem to find the "Edit device" option in HPSIM. ON IM7, there is a Edit Device option under Manual Discovery that you can use to change the device name and so on.

The device name under SIM is derived from DNS. You'll need to ensure that both forward and reverse DNS lookups are okay and then the device name will display correctly.

Alternatively, you can also override this with the 'hosts' file found in Windows at \%SYSTEMROOT%\system32\drivers\etc

Can I use the host file to do automatic discovery? If so, how do I put the host file into automatic discovery?

I was able to use the host file to run automatic discovery.
