SIM is working as designed. The data in the reports comes from the data collection task and is acquired from each server via SNMP and WBEM / WMI. SIM does not write the manually configured information into the tables used by reporting.

Running HPSIM5 with sp5 on Windows 2003 server. When running an inventory report the System Owner and Location fields will only populate when populated from the SNMP settings on each server. If I set the information manually via Edit System Properties and select Prevent Discovery, Indentification and Data Collection processes from changing these system properties the fields are left blank. Any ideas?
