Hi there,

Step 1: threshold setup:
You can setup thresholds for disk space usage on each of your servers either using the distinct System Management Homepage -> operating system ->file system space used (there you you can define a critical and a warning threshold on disk space usage)or using the HP SIM feature on the CMS, configure disks thresholds. In your case put a critical at 99% and a warning at 90%. See attached jpegs for more details.

Step 2: email automation
Create a new task with the following criterias :
name=email ; event=event type=ProLiant Threshold Events=Critical Rising Threshold Passed (10007). Then you select the sytems, the time filter, the action = email to ...

Regards

frederic
On the systems management homepage for the server you're monitoring, select the file space used and this shows a GUI display with triangles showing warning and critical alert values. You'll need to use the SIM to set the threshold reset values.

Email alerts will occur (assuming this set up ok).

More detailed notes are in the SIM user help guide
