What's a large amount?
mxdomainmgr uses around 500Mb here, with another 250MB being consumed by PMP.
HPSIM is seem quite memory hungry. I'm on SP5, so there's no fix there.

I am running Systems Insight Manager 5.0 with SP4 - Windows, Build version: C.05.00.01.01. running on a DL380 G4, 3.6 mhz with 1024. I've noticed that mxdomainmgr.exe is eating up a large portion of my available memory and making SIM very sluggish. Is this normal, and if not is there a fix.

We run a 380G4 dually with 4Gig of RAM and have SQL installed locally.. hitting about 1500 nodes. That process regulary brings our box to its knees. Cycle the HP SIM service every week or more and it will free up resources.

Until HP redesigns this product again we are stuck with a clunky product.. IMHO
