      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've installed PSP 7.5 on a number of machines.&lt;BR /&gt;Even though SNMP is installed and properly configured I cannot clear the IML.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any ideas?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(see attachment)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Andreas</description>

      <description>HI,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When you mention,&lt;BR /&gt;"Even though SNMP is installed and properly configured"&lt;BR /&gt;could you elaborate.&lt;BR /&gt;What kind of community strings have you specified?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Albert&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SNMP is installed and I've configured two community names, Public and greger.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Public with READ_ONLY and&lt;BR /&gt;greger with READ_WRITE&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I also tried adding a third with read_create but with no luck.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Accepted hostat are localhost and hulda_sim&lt;BR /&gt;where ulda_sim is the hp sim server.</description>

      <description>If the SNMP is all configured to allow it, the error message itself gives you the next lead to follow.  I'm assuming the system you are attempting this on is a windows box, so if you go to the control panel and open the HP Insight Agents applet, you should see a series of tabs across the top.  If you get the SNMP tab, there is a check box for "Enable SNMP Sets".  Make sure that box is checked.  If it is, then that would seem to point back toward something in the SNMP security settings.</description>

      <description>Forgot to restart the agents.&lt;BR /&gt;But it indeed was that snmp sets wasn't enabled.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanx.</description>
