Install Windows 2003 (service pack 1)<BR />2. Install Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (SP3)<BR />(user: sa ; password: pass@word)<BR />3. Create Database Name: HPSIM (with sa user)<BR />4. Install SNMP in Windows 2003<BR />5. Run HPSIM\win_ia32\setup.exe<BR /><BR />=&gt; On [Database Configuration] screen. I filled<BR /><BR />1. SQL/MSDE<BR />On left panel<BR />- Username: sa<BR />- Password: pass@word<BR />- Domain: myhostname (not join to domain)<BR />- Host: myhostname<BR /><BR />On right panel<BR />- Used existing:<BR />- Database: HPSIM<BR />- Port: 1433<BR /><BR />When i clicked Next for continue. I showed that<BR /><BR />---------------------<BR />Unable to connect the specified host. Please check the Host, Database and Port values and be sure the target database is running<BR />---------------------<BR /><BR />SO, I CAN'T PASS THIS SCREEN.
