Hi,

I have setup alerts to email me when there are incidents on the servers. But when Backup exec needs a drive cleaning or the job fails it doesn't just email once it keeps going. Until the fault has been addressed. Can anyone tell me what I need to do so it only emails me once?

Many thanks

Danielle

Hi Claus,

I've configured Backup Exec to send email notification using SMTP but I have also configured the SNMP service to send alerts to the Sim Server.

Just to be on the safe side

Danielle

I would just like to add that this happens for any message. I have just sent a test trap from one of my servers and it keeps emailing me over and over with the test trap so I have to shut the Insight Manager service on the SIM server to stop the emails?
