topic Configure Multiple ILO Server Ports in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

I am in the process of setting up the ILO Management Processor on approximately 60 DL360 and DL380 Servers. Is there a way in SIM that I can push the configuration settings I want to all the ILO ports at the same time? Do I need the advanced pack in order to configure AD authentication?

There are a couple of utilities that can help configuring ILO's.
HPONCFG and CPQLOCFG, both use scripts to set characterists.
It's been a while since I played with them, one I think can be used externally to the server.

I do seem to recall a utility that provided a GUI front end for configuring ILO's, but I no longer have it installed. One desktop rebuild too many.

As for AD integration, yes you need the Advanced ILO Pack. Note that the licensing changes with ILO 2, but you'll still need a license.
