topic SIM 5.0 in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

I have a situation that when our SQL 2005 database was updated to SP1, we can no longer log into our web page for insight manager. Even if I use the ID that was used for setting up Insight manager for the first time.
I don't believe there shouldn't be anything changed on the SQL database as far as security but that is the only thing that has changed.
Is there anything I can do to recover from this and be able to log into my insight manager. I can do a reinstall, but I don't know what will happen to the database. I don't want to have to input all the information again in my database.

Hello Tim,

Check if the default SQL port 1433 has changed or blocked?
If blocked,un-block the port.
If changed, stop SQL services and use the SQL network utility to assign the correct port.

This is one thing i can think of atm.

SRH
