HPSIM not working

We have a test server rx2620 with HP-UX 11i v2 June 2006 build. We installed the OS, HP-SIM and the beta version 2.0 of IVM. What do we need to do to get SIM working? We can not connect to SIM at all. IVM works fine though.

You might need to provide a bit more detail as to what "not working" means.
what do you get when you browse to HPSIM, that should be https://servername:50000

It comes up with "Unable to connect"
HP SIM loaded fine with no dependency erros as well as IVM. No errors at all.

Do you get that if you try and browse directly from the server? can you do that from the HP-UX Server?.
Unable to connect may be a firewall / network issue if this is happening from a workstation.

From the HP-UX bos I ran Mozilla and typed in the following: https://10.17.75.66:50000 and I got the message "The connection was refused when trying to contact 10.17.75.66:50000"

Different' from when I try to connect from a windows machine.

Does the HP-UX box have any firewalling software itself? Seems like the HP-UX box itself is preventing the access on that port.
I've never used HP-UX, so i'm not too sure where the issue lies.
But generally if HPSIM was not listening you just get a page not found.

Does any of the applicaions listed look like a firewall app? Remember, i'm new to this.
