Hello ,

If you get the traps in Insight manager. It means the threshold are configured on the server. Is the SNMP is configured to send traps to CA Unicenter. It is possible to see the warnings in Unicenter , because it polls the status every 5 minutes for performance history.
Also verify the Event Manager policy in unicenter how do you dela with these traps.

I hope this help.

Does anyone have a clue about how to make it work??

I'm getting traps about failed hardware and so on to the Unicenter server but not the ones about disk space...

Regards,
Jerker
Hello ,
In HP SIM the events are Proliant Threshold Events. The MIB name should compaq-str.mib.
OID are .1.3.6.1.4.1.232.1.3.1.0.10006 and 10005.
In Unicenter that should be configured in Event Manager if I remember well otherwise it wont show them. I f you have loaded already COMPAQ MIB or the integration package the alarm detail should be there.
