Automatic Event Handling Task not running

Running SIM V4.1SP1.
I have found that my automated event handling task has not run for several days.
I have tried rebooting the server and creating a new task and deleteing the old one - but the new one never starts.
Scheduled tasks seem to be running ok - any suggestions or advice gratefully received

Install 4.2 SP2 and it should work fine. Or upgrade to the latest version of SIM, which is 5.0 SP5.

Unfortunately upgrading is not an option at the moment.

STILL HAVE THIS ISSUE ....
Could the issue be on the SQL server - does this run as an SQL task?
