I have installed VPM on W2K3 server that is seperate from my SIM5sp5 server. I am able to scan servers but when I attempt to patch, there is no box for me to check to apply the patch.
I ran Options > VPM > Acquire Updates several times.
Diagnose > VPM > View Patch Repository also states that the repository is empty.
On the VPM server is see the patches on the server.
In event viewer I am getting this application error but I'm not sure what it means. I have restarted the VPM server but that has not helped either
Any ideas?

Event Type: Error
Event Source: ZTOPTASK
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1300
Date: 9/28/2006
Time: 12:37:10 PM
User: N/A
Computer: VPMserverTest
Description:
RCS MESSAGE: zsys_logEvent: zsys_readFile, ReadFile, Error code: 233, Error Text: <> <ERROR></ERROR>>
Hi Wordem,

Could you please make sure you've set the VPM proxy settings?
Go to Options > Vulnerability and Patch Management > Settings and fill your proxy settings.
Repeat the acquire again and double check if the patches were downloaded.

Let us know the issue has gone.

Thanks,
Lucas
