HP insight manager, software install issue

Ok, i have searched and searched, but i can not find the correct answer for the following:

Error retrieving repository. Be sure a trust relationship is established with the repository device.

this happens whenever i try to deploy or install software. I have the entire pkg setup on (1) server. Can someone PLEASE, show me what I am doing wrong????????

Hello Al,

Checklist:

1.SNMP settings
2.HP agents and SNMP services
3.VCA and VCRM installed and able to communicate

a.Whats the SIM ver?
b.Whats the OS on both CMS and managed node?
c.Do other tasks work ok?

sim vers = 5.0
os on both is windows 2003, sp1, but insight does not recognize system as windows on a lot of the servers i have?

which baffles me. I have started going through all servers to verify snmp and installing agent...

#1 All you re server SNMP setting are set for TRAPS>Communite name(correc name),TRAPS>Communite name>traps destination> 1-server Insight & 2-127.0.0.1
#2 All you re server snmp setting are set for SECURITE> Accepted community name>Communite name(correc name),All you re server snmp setting are set for SECURITE> Accepted community name>Communite name> Accepted packet from these host>1-server Insight & 2-127.0.0.1.

3# in youre Home page manegement>Setting>Securite
A_IP Binding-Nothing
B_IP Restricted Login-Nothing
C_Local Server Certificate-Nothing
D_Local/Anonymous Access-Nothing
E_Trust Mode>Secure Trust Modes:Trust by Certificate
F_Trusted Management Servers>Importe you Insight server certificate
G_User Groups-Nothing

4#in youre Home page manegement>Version Control Agent>does it see the server insight,look in change setting if you can't see it

5#In HP Insight Manager>Option>Security>Certificate> ...you should be able to add the server client certificate here.

Verify this deep..we could talk to find deeper the trouble after.
