Openview HP dataprotector 5.5 running on windows 2003 server sp1.
trying to open the dataprotector eventviewer
causes the management console shutdown windows eventid 1000 application error .

Faulting application Manager.exe, version 5.50.0.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.1830, fault address 0x00039114.

what can I do to open the dataprotector events

Hi.

I have same problem (Faulting application Manager.exe) with DP6.0 on W2K3 server SP1. But there are no patches for 6.0 available yet :-(
DonÂ´t enyone know, if there is a reported bug in DP6.0?
