Setting disk thresholds for DELL servers?

Is it possible?
If so how do I achive that?

My environment is HPSIM 5.0 Windows which already got some Dell servers discovered and being monitoring hardware health.

Afaik No.
Only a data collection(Asset Mgmt) is possible on 3rd party servers.

But how about the environment which needs to monitor cross-platform OSs such as Unix or Linux?

HP Agents are available for Linux etc. but they need an HP platform to run on. You can even get them for VMWare ESX.
One of the reasons to buy HP Servers is you get improved manageability as part of the product, with Dell you get Openmanage...
