      <description>I should have pointed out this is happening on *any* server I try to set. I'm running the latest proliant support pack, and SIM 5.0 with the latest service pack.</description>

      <description>Thanks for the ideas. Turns out that my SNMP settings got deleted somehow, so there was no write string set.</description>
