Replicate agent settings for iLO

Folks,

This may not be a fair question for the HPSIM list, but it is within this tool I am hoping for an answer.

I just recently discovered all my iLO cards, and want replicate all the settings like snmp trap ip addresses etc to my 'gold standard' configuration - can this be done via HPSIM, and if not, hopefully there may be an iLO guru out there that knows if there is 'replication' like functionality within the iLO world?

In the user guide for the current release you will want to look at the chapter "Group Administration and iLO Scripting." Using the CPQLOCFG utility you can apply settings through using a script based on an XML syntax. hpSIM will assist you in doing the repetitive execution of the utility for each of your iLOs. The chapter includes examples updated for hpSIM.

Thanks David, I had found that manual, but hadn't got to the point you mentioned. I will see what I can come up with.

I do quite a bit of ilo and riloe scripting so shoot me an email if you get stuck and I can give you some examples of what to do.
