Cannot uninstall Version Control from Add\Remove

We have been installing a custom baseline from PSP 7.51A and had no problems until recently where we see that the VCA does not update. We got around this by manually uninstalling\reinstalling the VCA agent separately.
However, we have 2 machines where the VCA agent is not in the add\remove programs where we can uninstall it. Consequently, I am unable to manually install the agent as long as the older version is available. I tried stopping the VCA service and then attempting to install, without any luck.
Can the VCA agent be uninstalled any other way? Does anyone know which folder the .exe resides in? The registry key that can be deleted?

Try rÃ©installing manually VCA.

You can't install a later vca version unless you uninstall first.Otherwise you get the error as seen in the attachment.

Make sure that you're temp folder in you're profile is empty, folder where it creat is temporarie folder for the installation.

Maybe it jamming in something or you're install of VCA is corrupted

There is nothing in the temp folder under any profiles
