Hi Peter,

we've got the same issue here in our company. All of our SLES SP2 & SP3 EMT64, ~ 80, have the same Problem as you mentioned.

HP is working on this problem with us for about 3 month without solution. It seems to be a problem with the snmp-stack from Suse. If the Problem is solved i will inform you.

Alex
Hi,

our SIM (Windows 2003 Server SP1 English, SIM 5 SP 5 Build C.05.00.02.00) has problems to make data collection (SIM Menu: Options -> Data Collection) on our Linux 64 Bit DL385 Servers (SLES9 SP3, newest PSP-Version). The data collection breaks with:

"The data collection on this device was aborted due to a timeout or it was abruptly stopped."

SIM on 32-Bit Linux-Servers with the same configuration (SNMP, ASM, RSM and SMH) works perfectly.

Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks
