    <description>Even with forward and reverse DNS sometimes I have seen non-compute devices (like switches, printers) never be able to resolve a name.  Your best method is to delete the devices and add entries for them in the Windows hosts file:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;\%SYSTEMROOT%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then re-add the devices in hpSIM...</description>

      <title>System name only IP address</title>

      <description>Hi I have 10 printers and only 2 have a real name the other one have only the ip. I create a dns for each printer and nothing happend is still only the ip address. Can we edit the system name in the same thing of IM SP2.3?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for any help.</description>
