    <description>INSTALL PROCEDURE(s)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To Update MIBs on a Windows Platform:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1)  Log in to Windows as a user with administrative rights&lt;BR /&gt;2)  Create a temp directory, such as c:\mgmtcd&lt;BR /&gt;3)  Launch your browser with this URL: &lt;A href="http://www.hp.com/go/hpsim" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.hp.com/go/hpsim&lt;/A&gt; and navigate to the mibs download (if you do not have&lt;BR /&gt;    the zip file yet).       <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have already completed this but all it seems to do is update based on the dfg files that link to the mib file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3Com only suppoy the actual MIB, there is no cfg file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ross</description>

      <description>You will need to compile the mib.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;run the command:  mcompile  &lt;MIBFILENAME&gt; for each MIB file.&lt;BR /&gt; Note: v2 Mibs may fail. if they fail take them out of the list of files to work with.&lt;BR /&gt; Each successful Mib will leave you with a CFG file. make a list of these files.&lt;BR /&gt;4) run the command: mxmib -a &lt;CFGFILENAME&gt; for each CFG file from above.&lt;BR /&gt; Note: Mib Failure is still possible.  Make a note of them and return to troubleshoot later.&lt;/CFGFILENAME&gt;&lt;/MIBFILENAME&gt;</description>
